london, vids Email Article Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 9:53PM "Bringing music art and fasion alive on Air" it was great to play at the launch of Strongroom Alive alongside Coldcut and a guest set from Simian Mobile Disco.
I performed a set with long time collaborator, Jimmy Napes (Sculpted Music), which you can listen to on the mixcloud player below [1:01:01]. I also had a little chat live on air with Strongroom Alive ambassador, my Uncle Ross Allen [2:40:40] Which lead to the first announcemnt of my show "The Melting Pot" which will be going out live on air on February 26th BOOM!!

collaboration, london, music, strongroom Email Article Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 5:52PM "With 2D, Murdoc, Russel and Noodle projected on-stage, GSS (made up of live percussionist Remi Kabaka, DJ Richy Pitch and drummer Pauli) performed remixes of Gorillaz classics such as Clint Eastwood and Stylo behind them. Special guest appearances by Roses Gabor and Daley provided live vocals to mashups of DARE and Doncamatic and the happy crowd danced non-stop throughout the night. The biggest surprise for the audience (which included Bobby Womack, Neneh Cherry, Kano and 3D from Massive Attack) was the unexpected appearance of Damon Albarn and De La Soul to perform a lively version of Feel Good Inc.
It was an extraordinary night for all in attendance and the party went on until the early hours as Acyde got back on the decks with acid house and disco classics. A true celebration to mark an exciting collaboration."
