Working with Plug Research's newest signing live and in the studio has been an absolute pleasure.

In the studio, It was nice helping to direct the band and arrangements alongside Brandan Grieve who is the first half of Szjerdene's rhythm section for live.

After recording three studio tracks we went on to play our first, London live show together which was great fun.. There was an excellent turn out and was truly a magical affair.

It was also lovely to have Szjeredene bless my studio, 'gHouse' - recording her version of Dimlite's "Leila's Tale," which you can listen to below:

Tawiah "Ghost" ft. Guy Chambers & Mark Ronson

Thanks to "Spinout3" theres now a permanent link to 'Ghost' by Tawiah, Guy Chambers and Mark Ronson - Recorded live for BBC2 at Orgasmatron, Favela Chic, London.

After the TV performance of 'Ghost,' the band on the night was Jodi Milliner, Sam Beste, Alex Reeve and myself, Pauli The PSM. It's always a magical experience sharing the stage with Tawiah, and I look forward to future shows later in the year... WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

The Return of Tawiah

Earlier this year it was a pleasure being able to work with Tawiah again. I first started playing drums with Tawiah in 2007 and in following years we played shows around the UK and Europe which included support shows for Mark Ronson.

I look forward to recreating some of the most enjoyable experiences in my music career and taking them to the next level with Tawiah on her future live sets. Below is a blast from the past demonstrating the energy from the full live band.

New SPD, SpongeBob Drums and Kano Session

So last week it was out with the old (SPD-S) see previous post this week it was in with the new (SPD-30)

The SPD-30 is the new Roland Octapad, based on the original Pad-8 which was launched before I was born, in 1985. Since then the Pad-8 has been re-modeled and updated several times to what is now an integral instrument in many live and studio set ups for drummers and producers alike.
